Natural stone products

Natural Stone refers to a number of products quarried from the earth, used over many thousands of years as building materials and decorative enhancements.
Granite, Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Slate, Quartzite, Sandstone, Adoquin, Onyx, etc  are major natural stones used in building industry.Natural stone is held in high regard as a premier building material because it reflects unique character, stability, and grandeur.Variations in natural stone’s broad range of color, pattern, and texture are visually interesting and impossible to replicate. And, because it comes from the earth, from eco-friendly compositions.

Granite

Granite is a common type of felsic intrusive igneous rock that is granular and phaneritic in texture. Granites can be predominantly white, pink, or gray in color, depending on their mineralogy.Granite is nearly always massive (lacking any internal structures), hard and tough, and therefore it has gained widespread use throughout human history, and more recently as a construction stone. The average density of granite is between 2.65and 2.75 g/cm3, its compressive strength usually lies above 200 MPa, and its viscosity near STP is 3–6 • 1019 Pa·s.The melting temperature of dry granite at ambient pressure is 1215–1260 °C (2219–2300 °F); it is strongly reduced in the presence of water, down to 650 °C at a few kBar pressure.Granite has poor primary permeability, but strong secondary permeability.

Marble

Marble is a Metamorphic Stone and mainly consists of calcium and dolomite.Technically marble is a recrystallized, compact variety of metamorphosed limestone capable of taking polish. Prized for its timeless style, texture and high-gloss polish along with a rich palette of beautiful colors, marble has a place anywhere in the home. Available in solids or dramatic veined varieties, marble may be carved or sculpted in many ways, making it one of the most versatile decorative stones. Often seen as a symbol of luxury, modern technology brings beautiful marble products even to budget-conscious homeowners.

Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the mineral calcite. Limestone is less resistant than most igneous rocks, but more resistant than most other sedimentary rocks. Limestone is readily available and relatively easy to cut into blocks or more elaborate carving. It is also long-lasting and stands up well to exposure.Natural limestone is oil resistant and non-slippery, therefore, well suited for flooring and paving purposes. Limestone can be also be used in any weather, as extreme degree of temperature, cold or hot, hardly affects the color and texture of limestone. It is highly acclaimed for its natural beauty, that makes it useful for interior as well as exterior decoration. As limestone is composed of finer grains so its density is more as compared to that of sandstone and so pores in the sandstone are more .Limestone, like marble and other calcareous stones, are referred to as acid sensitive.Lime stone is generally soft, and can be corroded by rainwater.

Travertine

Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, especially hot springs. Travertine often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and even rusty varieties.

Slate

Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock derived from an original shale-type sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash through low-grade regional metamorphism. It is formed over thousands of years of sedimentary deposit and compression. Slate splits naturally into beautifully textured layers. The various shades of slate products – brown, yellow, dark gray, pink, lavender and more – may even occur within the same piece of stone. Durable and stain-resistant, slate products are often used for flooring, cladding and landscaping.

Quartzite

Shimmering and sparkling with tiny quartz crystals, Quartz is a rock similar to slate with a medium grained texture and incredible durability. Differing mineral content creates many color variations, from the sedate white, gray or beige to more adventurous shades of purple and pink. Quartzite is widely used for wall veneers and decorative tiles. A naturally non-skid texture makes it a perfect candidate for flooring indoors and out, including areas with heavy traffic and exposure to the elements.

 Sandstone

Sandstone belongs to the sedimentary rock family and primary comprises sand-sized minerals or rock grains. The components of sandstone are quartz and feldspar which are the primary components of the earth’s crust .With a uniform texture, an appealing variety of colors and finishes, and weather resistant durability, it’s easy to see why sandstone products have been used for thousands of years for walls, floors, and pavers. As with other types of rock, its variations result from differing mineral composition – there’s a sandstone product to match any décor. Calcareous stones are readily dissolved in acid, while sandstone do not react with the acids.Sandstone is hard as compared to limestone and less corroded by rainwater, so we find it near the rivers, lakes and in desert areas.

Onyx

Onyx is a banded variety of the oxide mineral chalcedony. Agate and onyx are both varieties of layered chalcedony that differ only in the form of the bands: agate has curved bands and onyx has parallel bands. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color (save some shades, such as purple or blue). Commonly, specimens of onyx contain bands of black and/or white.

Granite flooring

Granite is the most durable natural stone .Granite is an igneous stone and contains many different minerals such as quartz, feldspar and potassium. Granite is very hard, tough and durable, but it stains easily if not sealed. It must be sealed with a penetrating sealer. For maintenance-free elegance and durability, granite is unmatched. Its incredible strength and density makes granite the perfect choice for massive structural work – walls, monuments and supports. Though it is the hardest of structural stones, the amazing variety of mineral-rich colors and natural patterns gives it ornamental value as well. Granite products are ideal for flooring, countertops, vanities and decorative exterior applications.

Semi precious stone

Semi-precious or gemstones are not stones at all, but are made of organic material like amber, coral and pearl.  These valuable materials are popular for their positive energy effect on their surroundings.

Artificial marble/Granite

These technologies and equipment allow to turn ordinary cement and sand into artificial marble - facing materials of new generation with surface structure and strength of marble. Marble, granite and stone floor tiles are concrete proof of how we can use innovative technologies to improve on the properties of natural materials. The popularity of man-made Marble tile, granite and stone tiles for floor and walls, is a result of their high technological performance due to elimination of all the defects of the natural materials, such as fractures, porosity, schistosity, pitting and uneven colour.Man-made marbles, travertines, granites and stones tiles meet a variety of different practical and aesthetic needs. The high mechanical resistance of this compact material permits use of man-made stones in areas subject to particularly high static, dynamic and impact loads

Pebbles

Pebble is a rock fragment which is smaller than a cobble. They are rounded and/or elliptical in shape, having diameter between 10 & 150 mm. Due to erosion effect these rock fragments gets naturally tumbled with flowing river water from mountains towards planes, making its surface smooth.

Cobbles

Cobble stone is a naturally rounded paving stone, which is smaller than a boulder and larger than a pebble. Used basically to make pathways, pavements and for landscaping, Cobbles & Kerbs are fireproof,  need little maintenance and no paint.

Cuddapah flooring

Cuddapah Black Limestone is one of the most popular limestone that is available in black colour. It is generally used for interiors as well as exteriors. he main attraction of this black limestone is that it is quite hard and is used in extreme temperatures. This cuddapah stone is quarried at Betamcherla,District Cuddapah,Andhra Pradesh.
